Congratulations and well done to Tank and Paul on their successful orange belt gradings last week. The excellent standard demonstrates how consistant training pays dividends when it matters.

I was sorry to hear that Alex is leaving us. He introduced me to the club, taught with patience and humour, and could always explain where I was going wrong and (perhaps more importantly) where I was going right. Good luck too you Alex. If I don't see you sooner I'll gett you a round in Valhalla :)

Attendance -
Guys can we ALL make sure we text myself with our attendance? This applies to all grades, both Kyu and Dan alike. Obviously I'm already aware of some situations, but the rest of us are still expected to let me know if you can't attend class. 07515007859.

Thanks to those of you that supported the course today. Once again we had a great day with Shihan Terry Bayliss and Sensei Tony Brown. Congratulations to Mike on his successful third dan grading, I am sure you will all agree we witnessed a demonstration of Aikido at its' best and congratulations to Ian also on being awarded his much deserved fifth dan. Looking forward to seeing Terry and Tony again in the spring, will let you know the date shortly. Check the gallery soon for pictures of the day.

I would like to thank everyone who turned up today to support the seminar. As usual Shihan Terry and Sensei Tony held nothing back. Well done to you all. Well done to Michael on getting his 3rd Dan. Thanks to Lee, Billy, Caroline and Tank for all your help. The way Sensei Tony steamed in was awesome to watch. I hope you all enjoyed watching it as much as Shihan and I did - brilliant.

Brilliant session today with Shihan. And Tony only got me the once (it was a good'n though. Right on the side of the neck).

Good session today (for me at least, despite Sensei Ian using me as a Ki dummy). Also good to see some new faces as well.

Nice to see the new web site up and running, thanks to all those who took the time to help do this as making this effort outside of working hours is really appreciated. The new site is an improvement on the the previous site and we should all use it to it's best advantage.
Good class today with Bill expressing his learning with Paul and Johnathan and Daveeeeeeeeee and I catching up on weapons work. Also good to see Tank show up to watch the class despite not being able to train through surgery on his knee. The club has gone through difficult times recently and the application of core members is really appreciated, commendable and a true appreciation of what Aikido means in it's fullest sense,
Yours in budo, Lee.
